Key Responsibilities
You will do the following as an Animal Care Attendant
- Feed and water all cats according to the specific dietary schedules provided by owners
- Administer basic oral or topical medications when required, following instructions
- Clean and disinfect cat enclosures, litter trays, and bedding on a daily basis
- Perform general facility cleaning, including laundry and dishwashing
- Conduct regular welfare checks to observe appetite, mood, and waste
- Report any signs of illness such as sneezing, lethargy, or vomiting to supervisors immediately
- Provide mental and physical stimulation through gentle play, brushing, and cuddle time for receptive cats
- Assist with check‑ins and check‑outs, recording owner instructions and cat belongings accurately
- Provide brief report card updates or photos to owners as needed
- Maintain strict awareness of open doors and gates to prevent escapes
- Follow biosecurity protocols for infection control at all times
- Work independently and as part of a team across both locations
