As a personal assistant (PA) in New Zealand, your primary responsibility is to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to one or more executives or high-ranking professionals within an organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations, managing schedules, and handling various tasks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the executive(s) you support.

Responsibilities of Personal Assistant:

  •  Assist the managing director and other senior staff members with their administrative needs, such as organizing meetings, creating paperwork, and handling communications.
  •  Control the Managing Director’s calendar, which includes setting up meetings and arranging travel.
  •  Assist with the creation of reports and presentations.
  •  Use prudence when handling private information.
  •  Carry out additional tasks as needed.
  • Handle phone calls, inquiries, and requests, directing them to the appropriate parties.
  • Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation.
  • Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and meeting materials.

Eligibility Criteria for Personal Assistant:

  • A baccalaureate in business administration or a closely connected subject.
  • Two years or more of administrative experience.
  •  Strong time- and project-management abilities.
  •  The capacity to function both alone and together.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  •  Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  •  The capacity to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • The adaptability to work, when necessary, outside of regular business hours.
