Vanco Farms Ltd., a family-owned business specializing in specialty and organic potatoes, premium cut tulips, and tulip bulbs, is looking for Farm Workers to join their team at their Mount Albion plant in Prince Edward Island. This is a great opportunity for those who love working with nature and are passionate about agriculture.

Job Overview:

• Location: 9311 Trans Canada Highway, Mount Albion, PE
• Pay: $13–$25 per hour, based on experience
• Job Type: The hours are dependent on customer orders, with flexibility required for evenings and Saturdays.

About the Role: As a Farm Worker, you’ll be part of the warehouse facility processing team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Grading, processing, and packaging potatoes and tulips.
• Following safety and health standards, along with food safety protocols.
• Inspecting potatoes and tulips on the inspection table, discarding any damaged or infected products.
• Packing potatoes and bunching tulips as per customer specifications.
• Assisting with equipment and facility maintenance.
• Taking on other farm duties as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work efficiently with your hands.
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting objects up to 30 lbs.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with limited supervision.
• Team player.
• No formal education requirements.
• Previous experience is an asset but not necessary.
