As an environmental service worker, selected candidate will be responsible for providing a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, residents, and staff. Responsibilities of Environmental Service Worker I:
- Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, resident rooms, and common areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Emptying and disposing of waste and recycling.
- Replenishing supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Following infection control and cleaning procedures.
- Assisting with moving furniture and other heavy items as needed.
Requirements for Service Worker I:
- Previous experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
