AG Workforce, a family-owned mixed farming enterprise located in the Kalangadoo/Penola district of South Australia is seeking an experienced farm worker to join their team. This position is ideally suited to someone who is living within the Kalangadoo/ Penola district and is looking for a full–time position in a family-owned mixed farming enterprise. This position has no on-farm accommodation, the ideal candidate will receive a work vehicle to commute to and from work along with a fuel allowance. Responsibilities of Farm Worker:

• Operation of agricultural machinery for pasture, and crop production
• General farm duties including fencing, and water maintenance.
• Mustering on quads and 2-wheeler motorbikes
• Processing of cattle and sheep, vaccinating and drenching
• Operation and maintenance of irrigation and pasture management

Eligibility Criteria for Farm Worker:

• Has a strong work ethic in addition to possessing excellent problem-solving skills.
• High school education or more.
• Ideally, candidates will have a minimum 2 years’ experience livestock experience.
• Is honest, well–organized, enthusiastic and motivated.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical minded and welding fabrication are highly desired.
• Experience with farm machinery and implements.
• Low-stress stock-handling skills
• Has a current, valid driver’s license
