Key Responsibilities
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly including toilets, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, and vanities to a professional standard
- Clean kitchens by wiping countertops, cleaning sinks, and wiping down appliance exteriors
- Vacuum carpets and rugs and mop hard floors in living areas and bedrooms
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and linens
- Make beds and change bed linens as requested by clients
- Organise general home areas such as tidying surfaces, arranging items, and decluttering as needed
- Follow client specific checklists and preferences to ensure every home is cleaned exactly as the resident wants
Qualifications
A current driver’s licence and a reliable, registered, and insured car are required. You must have a smartphone for scheduling and communication. A police check is required, and you must have or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check. No previous cleaning or support work experience is necessary, but you must be reliable, caring, professional, and comfortable working in varied home environments. You must be physically fit for hands on work including bending, lifting, and standing. Availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week across three or more days Monday to Friday is required. No weekend or public holiday work is expected.
