Responsibilities of Job:

  • Assistance with Daily Activities: Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, including reminding them to take medications according to prescribed schedules and ensuring medications are taken as directed.
  • Mobility Support: Help clients with mobility issues by providing assistance with walking, transferring between bed and chair, and using mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs.
  • Basic Nursing Care: Assist with basic nursing care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse, such as changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, and observing for any signs of deterioration in the client’s health.
  • Household Tasks: Assist with light household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning to ensure the client’s living environment is safe and comfortable.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation, reading, or accompanying them on outings as appropriate.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or changes in the client’s condition.

Requirements for Job:

  • Certification: Completion of a certified training program for nursing care helpers or equivalent experience in caregiving.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrated ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate care tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as assisting clients with mobility.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills in Japanese to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to providing high-quality care consistently.
