Responsibilities of Hospitality Service Assistant:

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Respond to residents’ queries and requests.
• Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen.
• Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing.
• Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas.
• To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry.
• Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

Eligibility Criteria for Hospitality Service Assistant:

• Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
• You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
