Factory Worker / Machinist in Australia

Responsibilities of Factory Worker:

• Machining solid timber and veneers
• Reading from cutting lists
• Maintaining stock level information
• Quality control of end product
• Responsibilities include operating machinery, such as saws and planers, to cut and shape timber according to specifications.
• Must be able to read blueprints, use hand tools, and perform quality checks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
• Operating state of the art cutting CNC machinery and software such as Homage 5 axis as well as other machinery such as Thicknessed, Edge Bander, Docking Saw, Spindle Moulder

Requirements for Factory Worker:

•     Trade qualification (preferred, not essential)
•     Experienced in working with solid timber and associated machinery.
•     O.H&S compliant
•     Able to read drawings/cutting lists.
•     High attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy.
