ALDI is looking for a warehouse maintenance worker. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris, organizing storage areas, repairing or reporting any equipment malfunctions, such as forklifts or conveyor belts. Responsibilities of Warehouse Maintenance:

  • Foster effective cooperation and interaction by maintaining ongoing communication and exchanging information with relevant personnel regarding maintenance matters.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, consulting the warehouse management team about maintenance needs, safety concerns, and sanitation issues, and offering input for operational improvements.
  • Ensure clear and appropriate communication with warehouse management, staff, and third parties regarding maintenance-related issues. This includes performing general cleaning duties to meet warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Conduct maintenance on both the warehouse building’s interior and exterior. Coordinate and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary warehouse building repairs and address emergencies outside the scope of routine maintenance.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and privacy of company-sensitive data while assisting the warehouse management team in meeting budgetary goals.
  • Execute all assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures. Follow established ergonomic procedures and safety guidelines when operating equipment in the performance of essential job functions.
  • Report concerns to management related to product quality, safety, and sanitation, and fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria for Warehouse Maintenance:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 45 pounds at various heights.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
  • Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Cultivate positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and consistently follow instructions.
